Take me to a place of ethereal dreams
To the mystic court of fairy kings and queens
Lead me far down the rabbit hole
Come away and bring my soul
To the mischievous magical masquerade balls
With seemingly endless candlelit halls
To palaces filled with twilight dancers Terpsichorean ladies and
prancing prancers
Rhythmic body's wearing hypnotizing colours
Mesmerise me and forget about all others
Let feet move to the music, let it draw me in
Let the endless stars caress gentle skin
Anonymous behind masks of luminous feathers
Unbinding myself of all earthly tethers
I see eyes smouldering from across the room
The hint of a smile enough to make me swoon
Cross the room you make your way
You draw near and I lose any words I was about to say
You've caught my eyes in a trance
As your hypnotic hips and rhythmic legs begin a dance
A coy smile and flirtatious wink
With eyes so green and lips so pink
You grab my hand our fingers entwine
As we make our way to the dance floor heels clicking in time
Clumsy doesn't seem to be in my vocabulary tonight
As you hold me close, so tender, so tight
Your laughter mellifluous as you throw back your hair
A beauty so enchanting it's hard not to stare
The crowd parts around us as we take to the floor
Your whispers in my ear float down to my core
We dance together until the morning light
Till the sun beckons my soul to take flight
And I leave this magical mythical place
Hoping to never forget the look on your face
As together we shared this magical world
Opening myself to you, my petals unfurled
But now I float back to myself
Back to the real world, though I would give all my wealth
To spend another enchanting evening with you
In the fairy court that imagination drew
To the mystic court of fairy kings and queens

For The Poet
[Personally I think it's my best poem ever. Enjoy!]
For a poet,
The beauty of the rainbow lies not in its colors,
For a poet,
Its beauty lies in the invisible dance between the breeze and light,
Which forms its shape and gives birth to its hues in misty sights.
For a poet,
The city is a jungle of wild, tall structures,
Beasts among smaller suburb rodents,
City windows: the butterflies upon a building's bark,
At night, dancing fireflies light the prairie roads.
A poet sees not the sun and moon,
But the sky's irises;
One golden, the other a silvery hue.
The ocean, for the poet, is not merely water,
But a mirror map for the sky,
Upon which i

The Only One
Some people said my words are fake because they sound so beautiful,
That it is always a good prudence to feel that things feel too good to be true.
People are not supposed to care, to see beauty in the plainest of things.
It's just like beliefs are not supposed to be true and there's no such thing as true love too.
Still I continued to write out all the beautiful things I know,
Trust in love that feels too good to be true,
Care for people I should never have cared for,
And never once looked to you.
But now you are the only one I speak to,
The only one who's heard all my ugly stories of love,
The only one who have always seen through

of ten thousand
slumbers and
woke to feel
no younger;
dreaming a
dream of fire
to quench the
thirst of havoc
that dwells in
my chaotic heart.
